My name is Darlene Grahn and I have been fortunate enough to have been teaching at Ponoka Elementary School, in a Grade 4 position, for several years now. Before coming to Ponoka, I taught in the Grasslands School Division for twenty years, in a variety of schools in and around the Brooks area. Throughout my career I have taught every grade from Kindergarten through Grade 9, and I enjoy all grade levels of teaching.
For me, relationships with my students, parents, colleagues and our community are at the forefront of everything I do. It is because of these relationships and being immersed within our open-concept, teacher collaborative school; that I find myself to be in the best profession in the best school I have ever been fortunate to be a part of! :o)
