I grew up close to Ponoka and enjoyed being involved in life on the farm. I’ve always loved all kinds of sports and played pretty much any and all sports. My three children are all grown up now. One of my sons works in Red Deer; my other son teaches high school in Calgary; and my daughter is just beginning her first year of university to become a teacher as well! In our free time, my family and I love camping, horseback riding, quadding, fishing, cheering for the Oilers, and travelling to warm, sunny places whenever we can!
I’ve taught many different grade levels over the course of my career before finding my perfect fit in grade two! I love working with these young kiddos, sharing their enthusiasm and excitement towards learning; and seeing how much each child changes, grows, and develops new skills throughout the year. I am very excited to work together with my fantastic grade two team, my students, and their families to make this an amazing year.
