I was raised on a farm in rural Saskatchewan, where my family still actively grain farms. I went to a small town school from K-12 and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts and Science and a Bachelor of Education.
I have taught 15 years in both Saskatchewan and Alberta, with experience teaching in rural and urban communities.
I have experience coaching volleyball and love to play it. I enjoy playing badminton, curling, ball and keeping active. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, traveling, spending time with family and taking my dog for walks.
I am excited to be joining the Ponoka Elementary team this year and getting to know the students, their families, and the staff! I look forward to building connections and becoming part of the community.
