Mr. Deckert
I am very excited to be back at Ponoka Elementary School for my second year, and first teaching grade 4!
I grew up in Ponoka, and currently live on an acreage south of town with my wife Kristy and two boys, Jase and Luke. This is my 18th year of teaching, and I am looking forward to another fun and exciting year.
When I am not at school, I enjoy being outdoors. In the summer, my family loves to golf, camp, fish and spend time on our boat. In the winter, we enjoy snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding.
I am looking forward to the new school year and all the excitement of being in a new grade, building relationships with the staff, students, and families.
